Black-Out Poetry

Arts Society invites you to join us for a night of poetry and fun! Black-out poems can be created using the pages of old books, newspaper articles, magazines, you name it! We will be using a Sharpie to isolate different words or short phrases which, taken together, create a poem. You bring a page of existing text, a sharpie (or other dark writing medium), and your creativity! We will provide instructions, encouragement, calming music, and fun times!! Members will be encouraged to share the black-out poetry that they create with other participants in break out rooms at the end of the meeting!
