The Holdovers Screening

The Village on College Hill presents The Holdovers, a 2023 film nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay. Da’Vine Joy Randolph won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe, BAFTA, SAG, and Independent Spirit Awards for Best Supporting Actress. "The film is about a curmudgeonly instructor at a New England prep school who remains on campus during Christmas break to babysit a handful of students with nowhere to go. He soon forms an unlikely bond with a brainy but damaged troublemaker, and with the school's head cook, a woman who just lost a son in the Vietnam War." All Lafayette students, faculty, staff, and friends are welcome to attend.
