Lafayette College is competing in this national 8-week competition to reduce waste and increase recycling on campus. Do your part by recycling properly on campus and practicing waste minimization strategies, like using a reusable water bottle at the refill stations around campus. Keep a lookout for events on campus focused on waste and recycling, such as Game Day Basketball, the Campus Thrift Store, and more! On Wednesday, February 7th at 7pm, we’ll be participating in Game Day Challenge, which means Lafayette is competing with other colleges around the nation to see who can reduce, recycle and compost the most at basketball games. Used Book Sale

For a limited time, the College Store will be selling used books at a highly discounted rate ($5-10 each). This is a great opportunity to thrift for your textbooks instead of buying new. Books are donated, and the College Store cannot guarantee they will have used books for your courses, but highly recommends you take a look at the offerings the first week of classes. A display will be at the College Store (211 McCartney St.) every day from 1/19-2/3 from 11am-4pm.
