Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be firstly, to create a cultural peer group for both international Asian students in order to alleviate the culture shock of a different country and for Asian-American students who wish to learn and connect more strongly with their heritage. Furthermore, the Association will also seek to extend its activities and membership to any student interested or curious about Asian culture so that a greater understanding of worldwide cultures may be cultivated on Lafayette campus as past of the College's initiative to achieve greater diversity, cultural differences, and a more global viewpoint of humanity itself so that our students may develop into more well-rounded and understanding citizens of not just Lafayette or the U.S. or Western civilization but the world itself.

The Lafayette College German Club strives to connect German speakers at Lafayette with one another and to create an atmosphere of community, in which students and faculty can come together to learn about German language and culture.

Membership Benefits
Members gain a deeper understanding of German culture and the language. The club offers a wide variety of opportunities where members can practice and improve their German language skills, such as Kaffeestunde, Wochentisch, Kabaretabend, and more! These events also offer insight into another culture which improves the world-view of members. Students interested in learning German may also begin practicing here and learn more about the program.

The International Students' Association aims to contribute to the intellectual and social life at Lafayette by sharing diverse cultural traditions and providing a home for international students, whilst being open to all students at the same time.

Irrespective of where they are from, members of the ISA can find a home at Lafayette College. We provide an incredibly diverse and active membership base, and we create friendships that transcend class years and individual backgrounds. We provide our members with ample opportunities to celebrate their own cultures while also learning about and celebrating the cultures of other members in our organization, promoting the value of intercultural development. We provide our members as well as the greater Lafayette community the opportunity to participate in two week-long events, one per semester, full of well organized cultural activities meant to serve as an opportunity to facilitate the exploration and expression of different cultures, semesterly GBMs, and events that we cross promote with other Lafayette student organizations that share similar values.
